About the tour
The Faroes were my first big commission, and I have been back every spring since. We stay in two guesthouses, one on Vágar and one on Streymoy, and move between them by ferry and road.
Days are long in May. We shoot early and late and keep the middle of the day for rest, editing and the occasional bowl of fish soup. The weather changes every hour, so the plan bends with it.
